"I realize some of you will scroll past this without reading, and that's okay. The people who I'm looking to read this, are looking for this post. Maybe they realize it, maybe they don't.

First, this isn't for personal benefit, this is for a person I truly believe in.

I decided a couple months ago that I didn't want to enter 40 next year without being the best I can be. My biggest setback was not knowing where to start besides the obvious of eating healthier. I took the plunge and I hired Taylor when I saw her advertise on the community page. Besides the fact that her prices beat any and all personal training prices I've ever come across, she comes to you -- YES your home. She brings training gear with her, she doesn't need you to have a membership at a gym and she doesn't need you to have childcare. She works around REAL life situations.
Aside from losing both pounds and inches and sizes since I've been working with her, I've learned proper form (because doing exercises when the body is misaligned can place your tendons, muscles and joints in positions that can potentially cause strains or tears). I've learned usable techniques I can work on at home when she isn't there (utilizing my floors, walls, stairs, chairs or inexpensive stretchy bands, resistance bands or kettle bells and free weights that can be purchased a little at a time/affordably) -- because we don't all have time to hit the gym everyday or buy our own gym equipment.

Her initial consultation is free and thorough and enlightening. She truly figures out what your fitness level is so she can formulate routines that will produce results based on what you're capable of.  She pushes you. I trust her. I have confidence in her. "I have been training with Taylor since December of 2015. I came to Taylor realizing that I needed to make a change in my lifestyle. My significant weight gain, for my body size and type, was negatively affecting my confidence, relationships, and overall health. My physical results in my four months of working with Taylor speak for themselves; down in dress size from a size 6 to a 2, down 15 pounds, and significant increase in lean muscle. However, my mental results have had the greatest impact. As someone in “the helping field”, I wasn’t practicing the “self-care” I preach every day.  Taylor helped me understand how exercises could be my healthy stress relief. As a result; my sleep, confidence, attitude, work satisfaction, and relationships, all greatly improved. I signed up for personal training with my new membership at Genesis Health Club in the summer of 2015. At that point I did not necessarily want to lose weight but rather maintain my current weight and improve overall health. I was assigned to Taylor and during our first session we hit it off right away and established a strong bond. In the early months of our training, she provided me with so much information (including helpful internet links and recipes) on appropriate nutrition. She taught me all about how to isolate and target my "problem areas" with numerous machine-strength and body-strength based routines. The results were instantaneous and I was feeling the best I had ever felt after only a couple of weeks of following Taylor's nutrition and workout plans. I was feeling fantastic after every session and soon I became inspired and empowered to visit the gym outside of the one to two sessions per week. As the months went by my goals started to change as I wanted to focus on toning. Taylor was always happy and willing to switch the directions of our workouts. That is about the time she introduced me to Plyometrics and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), which I swear by to this day as the most effective cardio. After seeing great results in my muscle mass thanks to Taylor's teachings and assistance, I began to gain appreciation for the way my body began to transform with the increased lean-muscle mass. In the last couple of months my goals have shifted once again but this time to strength-building. This is definitely not a goal I would have ever thought I'd have last summer when I started at Genesis. She never pushed certain goals on me, but instead tailored everything on how I felt about my growing results. In this journey Taylor has been such a huge support, whether it's during our sessions as she cheers me on or outside of the gym when I text her seeking health and/or bulking advice. I'm so thankful to have met Taylor. I consider myself so lucky to have such a thoughtful, supportive, motivating and inspiring trainer who only wants to see me achieve my goals and transform myself into the best version of me possible!" -Ashley, age 27

"I'm active duty and never before thought of working with a personal trainer. Whether it was not wanting to spend money of figuring I knew better, I never went that route. In July of 2017 I had an emergency cesarean (second unplanned c-section) and I have been recovering. When I saw Taylor post, a thought sparked. I wanted to get a head start on my PT this time around and of course my post-baby body LOL. I agree with the previous ladies; Taylor is super friendly, down to earth and accommodating. To top it off, the price is right. I bring my newborn baby - I'm still on maternity leave.
Taylor has a degree and it shows. She has walked me through tons of exercises that helped us figure out where I am physically and to give us an idea on how to increase the intensity SAFELY, which is so important to me. She has also given me workouts to do at home for the rest of the week that I'm not with her. She's having me look forward to going back to work and doing better on my PT test than I did before... Or "Kick Butt" as she likes to say."

"Having Taylor as a trainer was one of the most life changing things I’ve ever decided to do. At the time we started together, Taylor was a long time friend who was also working for me as a coach for my volleyball club in Lawrence, KS. She committed to meeting with me three times a week at whatever gym we could get to. Not only did she continually motivate me and push me physically, she completely redesigned my eating habits. She taught me so much about nutrition and how my body uses it. I had struggled with “diets” and my weight for years, always going back and forth and never able to make a real change. Taylor’s ability to motivate, hold accountable, and her emerging knowledge in training and nutrition really sparked a fire within me. I so enjoyed my time working with her--I learned so much and got incredible results. "I'm so glad I was introduced to her! Just within this month so far I've seen more progress than I thought I would have. So I can definitely vouch for her as well. She is just the sweetest person and has an awesome personality on top of that! I love that she knows I'm a mom and have my crazy kids running around. I also really like that she's in the neighborhood so I can go to her house or she can come to mine. I really love the fact that she makes sure your form is correct when you're doing every exercise. She has a great, cheerful personality that makes the workouts seem to go by quickly and more enjoyable. While she is fun to work with, she is also very tough.
